How can you tell if a college or university will cut the price for your child?
You can get an idea by looking at a school’s Common Data Set.

It’s begun! The first week of the high school football season has been completed, marking the end of summer and the beginning of fall. Soon the leaves will turn and we will begin digging out our warm jackets from the back of the closet. This is a special time of year that all true football fans wait for; a time when hope still springs eternal. Before this week, every team dreams of an undefeated season and a date in the state championship game. Now that the dust has settled, half of those teams need to regroup and rededicate their efforts while the other half is exactly where they thought that they would be, undefeated.

“Boobies” is not in George Carlin’s list of dirty words, but teenagers wearing rubber bracelets saying they “love” them are sparking controversy in some Sacramento-area schools.
Last week Hunter Cooper, 15, of Rocklin High School made headlines because he refused to stop wearing his “i love boobies” bracelet from Keep A Breast foundation that’s meant to raise awareness of breast cancer among teenagers.
Principal Mike Garrison said Rocklin High administrators determined the bracelets are demeaning to women and can potentially disrupt classes. So they banned students from wearing them.
Whitney High School, also in Rocklin, is banning the bracelets, too, according to a student; Antelope High School in Citrus Heights made news last week for doing the same.
